Trying out MySmile teeth whitening kit!

I got my MySmile teeth whitening kit in the mail and I used it for 3 days so far and here are my results. Note: The instructions say to use it daily for 7 days or until desired results, but after the 4th day, my gums were a little sore and the peroxide turned them white temporarily... don't worry, this is normal and goes away after about half an hour. So I decided to stop after the 4th day because of that AND my 4th day result picture didn't look whiter than my 3rd day so I am just going to share my 3-day results. Here is what is inside the kit:

Now, the istructions say that the LED accelerator light automatically turns off after 10 minutes and that is all it says about how long to leave it on, but I saw something on the website about 15 minutes, plus in the past using other whitening kits, some have said to leave it on for 30 minutes, so... I decided to do mine for 20 minutes, plus I wanted better results and didn't think it would hurt. So after the first time the LED light turned off, I turned it back on for 1 more round. Something that helped me because I had a lot of saliva build up in my mouth is to keep a wash cloth or towel in my had and when I felt like spitting, I didn't take out the tray, I just opened the corner of my mouth and tipped my head to the side so the saliva wouldn't get inside the tray and I do recommend spitting so you don't accidentally swallow any of the solution. Another tip is don't brush your teeth too hard before using this kit. It's important to brush your teeth first, but just use a soft bristled toothbrush. I had an electric toothbrush with firm bristles and that is why my gums go so sore and turned white from the peroxide solution. I recommend stopping the daily routine if or when the first time this happens and wait at least a week before using it again. This is no big deal and 3 days of whitening is plenty.
